Host: What are the commencement challenges that you are faced in Faisalabad?

DC Faisalabad Mr. Muhammad Ali: First of all I saw developmental issues in the city like roads, infrastructure, and sanitation especially in rural areas. Funding from the government is also one of the biggest issues. Soon the government announces the package for the development.

FDA also helps us in developing the Kashmir bridge and people also face many difficulties in passing through during the developing phase. Now the project is complete and people are enjoying the project.

Host: What are the current task you are fighting for since morning?

DC Faisalabad Mr. Muhammad Ali: Our nature of the job is like fire fighting and we are doing multiple tasking on a daily basis. We accept new challenges on daily basis and resolve previous ones also. Secondly, the price control staff is also helping people so that they can reach all the groceries affordably. We have 54 magistrates in the city and they perform almost 1000 inspections daily.

I also visit the Faisalabad city daily in search of violation prevention and to maintain law and order. We also launched Qeemat app to facilitate the people. It used to complain about services of the shopkeeper like bad things providing or pricing issues.

We also keep an eye on the covid violation and stockers.

Host: As you, pollution is also a big problem all over the world and unfortunately our city is one the polluted cities in the world So what about decreasing the pollution?

DC Faisalabad Mr. Muhammad Ali: Yes of course we are doing but you know Faisalabad is the industrial city of Pakistan and after Karachi Faisalabad is having the most industries that are affecting our air and water quality. But our anti-pollution department already working on it.

Faheem Gilani: What are the new industrial projects that are profiting?

DC Faisalabad Mr. Muhammad Ali: Yes we have two main industrial zones in Chak Jhumra and Allama Iqbal industrial zone that are benefiting the people. They also have state-of-the-art technologies. So in that aspect, I think it’s the future industrial hub of Faisalabad.

Host: What is your education please tell us in summary to motivate the youth?

DC Faisalabad Mr. Muhammad Ali: After completing my schooling in Islamabad I have done MPhil in economics from an international Islamic university. Because I made up my mind to clear the CSS Exam, So in that context, I passed the CSS exam on the second attempt. Youth should stay focused on achieving their goals.

Host: Are you fond of reading books?

DC Faisalabad Mr. Muhammad Ali: Yes I read books now and then but due to loads of work I did not have enough time to read books.

Host: How do you spend time with your family in terms of entertainment or hang out with kids?

DC Faisalabad Mr. Muhammad Ali: I dine out in a restaurant with family and dive with kids.
