Pakistani soldier embraces martyrdom serving in UN mission Says ISPR

Rawalpindi: A Pakistan Army soldier has been martyred while serving in the United Nation’s (UN) mission, said military’s media wing.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Hawaldar Mohammad Shafiq was martyred while serving in the UN mission.
The soldier embraced martyrdom while serving in the Central African Republic.
As per ISPR, Hawaldar Shafiq had joined the UN mission in February 2021 and was survived by their wife and three sons.

His funeral prayers were offered in Mian Channu and a large number of locals including military officials attended the funeral prayers. Later, the martyr was buried with full official honors.
So far, 162 Pakistani peacekeepers have laid lives as part of global peace missions for international peace and stability.
