Pakistan will buy more 100MW electricity from Iran

LAHORE: According to sources Pakistan will buy more than 100MW of electricity from Iran.

According to sources, the decision has been taken considering the need of energy in Balochistan. Iran has shown a positive response on the request of Pakistan. The Pakistani delegation will visit Tehran to discuss technical matters.

Sources say that imported electricity will fulfill the requirement of Makran Division including coastal strip.
