PM Shehbaz congratulates President Zardari on PPP’s victory in GB elections

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the people of Gilgit-Baltistan for holding transparent, peaceful, and politically active elections.
In his statement, the Prime Minister said that the Pakistan Peoples Party emerged as the leading political party in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections and deserved congratulations. He also extended felicitations to President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
He further congratulated successful candidates of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and appreciated their strong performance and efforts during the electoral process.
Shehbaz Sharif also extended congratulations to all other successful candidates in Gilgit-Baltistan and praised the people of the region for their active participation in democratic activities.
He said that peaceful elections and active political engagement reflect the true spirit of democracy. The Prime Minister praised the Election Commission for ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections, and also commended the role of police and law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace during the electoral process.
