Wasim Akram donates signed ball for COVID-19 relief efforts

Karachi: Former speedster Wasim Akram donated a signed ball for auction, the raised money will be used to help people across the country who are suffering through a difficult time due to prevailing COVID-19. 

Akram joined hands with Pakistan’s top tennis player Aisam-ul-Haq in his campaign #StaragainstHunger. Akram wished best of luck to Aisam for his efforts towards a good cause.

“I fully support Aisam and I wish him best of luck for his goal. I believe that he will put his hard work to help people in need around. I have given a signed ball to him for auction and I hope it can somehow help him in this cause,” he said in a video message.

It must be noted here that Mushtaq Ahmed, Shoaib Akhtar, and other sportsmen have presented their memorabilia for auction. The raised money will be used to help needy families.
