Lahore team to play Socca World Cup in Greece

Lahore showed brilliance to win the Leisure Leagues Six-a-Side Football National Championship title in Karachi.
The champions from Punjab beat Karachi on penalty kicks by a 2-1 score. The win has earned them a chance to represent Pakistan in Socca World Cup for the second time. The event is all set to take place in Greet, Greece.
Lahore took charge of Karachi in an electrifying atmosphere at Karachi’s People’s Stadium. The match ended in a goalless draw.
The DG Rangers Sindh Major General Omar Ahmed Bukhari embraced the event and distributed cash prize among the teams. Lahore pursed prize cash of Rs 100,000 while Karachi received Rs 50,000.
