KARACHI (9 News) – The nine-month-old girl, who was paralyzed after being injected a wrong injection, died on Monday.

Nishwa was admitted to Liaquat National Hospital after her condition deteriorated at Darul Sehat.

The police have arrested Dr Sobia responsible for administering the wrong injection.

On the other hand, FixIt staged a protest demonstration against the hospital administration.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Nishwa. “We had planned her treatment abroad. She lost her life despite all-out efforts to save her life,” he said.

The chief minister the victim’s parents would be provided justice.

Suspect involved in injecting Nishwa wrong injection sent to remand

A court in Karachi on Monday sent the suspect Agha Muez – allegedly involved in injected of wrong injection to Nishwa – to physical remand until April 20.

Nine-month-old girl Nishwa was administered wrong injection by a male nurse, Agha Muez, at Darul Sehat Hospital. The Shahrae Faisal police produced the suspect before court.
