COP AMONG TWO SHOT DEAD IN KARACHI’S DEFENCE AREA

KARACHI (9 NEWS) A cop among two pedestrians shot dead in Karachi’s defence area on Saturday night.

As per details, the incident took place at DHA Phase VI’s Khayaban-e-Bukhari in Karachi when armed men opened fire at a policeman, killing him on the spot and wounded two pedestrians.

The killed cop was identified as Khalid, who was a police constable. He was returning home after performing his duty when he came under the attack.
Eyewitnesses said that men looked drunk and opened fire on the police constable and the pedestrians. After the firing, they locked the car and fled from the scene. SP Suhai Aziz said that authorities have traced the owner of the vehicle with the help of its registration number and raids were conducted at the owner’s house. Four bullet casings were also found from the scene,he added.
