Dubai: The match between Sri Lanka and India in the Asia Cup T20 was tied, and then India defeated Sri Lanka in the Super Over.

In the last match of the Super 4 stage played in Dubai, India, batting first, scored 202 runs for five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka also scored 202 runs for five wickets.

For India, Abhishek Sharma played an unbeaten innings of 61 runs, Tilak Verma scored 49 runs, Sanju Samson scored 39, and Axar Patel scored 21 runs.

For Sri Lanka, Thakshana, Chimera, Hasaranga, Shanaka, and Asalanka took one wicket each.

In response to India's 202 runs, Sri Lanka scored only 202 runs in the stipulated overs, and the match was tied thanks to Pathan Nisanka's brilliant century.

In the Super Over, Sri Lanka batted first and scored only 2 runs. India easily achieved the target of 3 runs.

It is pertinent to note that the Asia Cup final will be played between Pakistan and India on Sunday.
