Arrangements For 35th World Fashion Convention Underway

Chief Coordinator of Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) Ijaz A Khokhar said that initial arrangements for holding the 35th World Fashion Convention in November in Lahore was underway.

While talking to APP here on Monday, he said that he will be leaving for Frankfurt to discuss and finalize arrangements for the international event with International Apparel Federation (IAF).

He said during his visit, he will attend Techtextile, a leading trade fair for technical textiles and non-woven mainly to invite the international brands.

Ijaz said that delegates from 45 countries were expected to join the convention,which would not only promote the softer image of Pakistan but also help to boost our textile sector globally.

The speakers from across the globe would express their views under the theme "Building Competitive Supply Chains", he said.

Ijaz said the convention will provide an opportunity not only to develop B2B links,but also set up joint ventures with their foreign counterparts.
