Sri Lanka’s full-strength squad has landed in Islamabad to mark Test cricket’s return to Pakistan after a gap of 10 years.
The visiting side will move to Rawalpindi and will do practice on Tuesday. They will play the first test against the home team from December 11. The historic test will mark the return of Test cricket to the cricket-loving nation.
The preparations for the series are in full swing and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is all set to make this return as successful as they can. Law and enforcement agencies will provide tight security to the teams and stadiums in both the cities.
It must be noted here that Sri Lanka will travel to Karachi on December 17 to play the second and last test from December 19.
