Sindh slaps ban on swimming at school pools in Karachi


(Karachi News): Sindh’s school education and literacy department needs all colleges in Karachi to quit letting pupils swim into their pools following a pupil drowned at Habib public school through a course.

The department stated the schools need to make sure that the complete safety of pupils while they’re swimming pool employ qualified teachers or trainers of national fame and stick to the sop of their swimming pool. faculties with pools need to submit a record together with the particulars of their swimming pools particulars of their sops and testimonials from trainers from September 13.

The faculty could have its license if any event occurs after instruction department committee will see schools and assess their pools the sops of and talk into the coaches.on Tuesday 11-year-old Usman Durrani son of Zeeshan Durrani drowned during a swimming course in Habib public school while teachers were occupied with other pupils.

He was promptly taken by the college government to a south city hospital in Clifton where doctors declared him dead. afterwards the body was taken by the authorities to civil hospital for a postmortem examination. the authorities detained two swimming instructors Mumtaz Akbar and Saifullah.

A murder case was enrolled in the docks police station against the faculty administration in addition to the teachers. the south dig took note of this incident and sought a report by the kemari divisions superintendent of police.
