Shah Rukh Khan birthday, often hailed as the ‘King of Romance’ and known for delivering cult classic hits like ‘DDLJ’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in his three-decade long career, turned 55 on Monday.
On the morning of November 2, #Mannat and #HappyBirthdaySRK trended on Twitter and SRK’s die-hard fans and colleagues from the film fraternity flooded the micro-blogging site with birthday wishes for the actor.
Juhi Chawla, who has been SRK’s co-star in films like, ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’, ‘Ram Jaane’ and ‘Yes Boss’, announced that she will plant 500 trees for SRK on his birthday for project #CauveryCalling. “From co-star, co-producer to co-owner ….dotted with much laughter and some tears, it’s been a long, colourful & eventful journey,” wrote Chawla in her tweet.
Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan took to Instagram to share a throwback picture with her father and BFF Shanaya Kapoor on the occasion of their birthday. Sharing the monochrome picture, she captioned, “Happy Birthday to my best friends lol” and “love” along with a heart emoji. She also added, “55 and 21 hehe” as the caption. The picture shared is from SRK’s last year’s birthday bash at his Alibaug farmhouse.
South superstar Dhanush, too, wished the 55-year-old star on his birthday.
