Sarmad Khoosat’s Zindagi Tamasha Was Given the Kim Ji-Seok Award in the Busan International Film Festival. The Kim Ji-Seok Award, named after the festival’s most co-founder and the executive developer has been jointly presented to Zindagi Tamasha and also to Pradip Kurbah’s Market (India).
Khoosat’s Zindagi Tamasha had its world premiere in the Busan International Film Festival this week. Place in Lahore, the movie chronicles the chaos that ensues in a man’s life span when a movie has uploaded onto networking that is societal.
The movie was led and co-produced by Khoosat with his Kanwal Khoosat. It’s Been composed by Nirmal Bano and celebrities Eman Suleman, Samiya Mumtaz, Arif Hasan and Ali Qureshi. The soundtrack for the film was written by Lux Style Award champions Salkin.
Talking to Variety Khoosat explained, “What was most important to me was exploring the idea of tolerance. Speaking about the present condition of the Pakistani film industry, Khoosat stated, “The difficulty with our sector from the 1980s and 1990s was that it didn’t appeal to a broader audience. However, the past two years have seen a number of movies along with the resurrection of Pakistani theatre.
