KARACHI – Adviser to Chief Minister of Sindh on Law, Anti-Corruption Establishment, and Information Murtaza Wahab said Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi accused that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has become a party of Sindh only but PPP is a party of the federation and will remain so.
Murtaza Wahab held a press conference in Karachi on Tuesday and said the Sindh government is being criticized on daily basis and the federal ministers only level accusations against PPP. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members never talk about facts, he added.
“Public-private partnership was introduced by PPP. The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) was handed over to Sindh in 2011 and the provincial regime allotted Rs 11 billion for the institute, where seven million people have been treated for free, after the 18th amendment. People from across the country receive free treatment at hospitals in Sindh.
“PTI leaders accuse others and those who only know to criticize cannot see these works as they are biased towards PPP. It has been alleged that Sindh health minister is not seen anywhere. Our ministers remain busy in doing work instead of holding press conferences.”
