PPP asks govt to resign

(Karachi News): Talking at a media conference, Senator Raza Rabbani said governance has caused an economic illness in Pakistan. He said the government’s move to accept Karachi under its management could be unconstitutional and illegal.

The Senator said people of this state won’t permit anybody split Sindh. Rabbani said any movement on the part of government could be harmful for the nation.

Authorities have faced backlash from PPP following Law Minister Farogh Naseem said the centre could take Karachi under its management by invoking Article 147.

The PPP also raised the issue at the National Assembly on Friday in which Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi promised them that nothing of these sorts will occur in Sindh. The minister criticized PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the statement of the law minister.
