Situation was very bad when assumed government, says PM Shehbaz Sharif

SOHABTPUR: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the situation was very bad when he assumed the government.
Addressing the flood affectees on Wednesday, he said that no doubt the inflation is at peak and the flood had created a big challenge.
"Despite limited resources, the government could issue only Rs100 billion for the flood affectees. But we need more billions of rupees. We have invited friendly countries to the Geneva Conference," he added.
Earlier, the prime minister was briefed about the rehabilitation and reconstruction projects. He also inaugurated a model school.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also announced to construction 12 Danish schools in the province. Minister for Housing and Works Maulana Abdul Wasay was accompanying the prime minister.
