PSL 7: Islamabad United to take on troubled Karachi Kings today

Lahore: In the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Islamabad United will take on Karachi Kings today at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

As per schedule, the match will be played at 7:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

With six consecutive defeats in the ongoing PSL 7, Babar Azam-led Karachi Kings need to win all of their remaining four matches to reach the play-offs in the tournament.

Islamabad United in their previous match lost to Quetta Gladiators by five wickets in the 18th match of the seventh edition of the PSL 2022 at Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday.

According to the points table, the Multan Sultans team is at the first position with 12 points while the Lahore Qalandars team grabbed second place with 10 points after defeating Quetta Gladiators by 8 wickets. Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, and Peshawar Zalmi have 6 points each and are at the third, fourth, and fifth slot respectively due to net run rate.

Karachi Kings have not won a single match so far and are at the bottom of the table.
