Pakistani women contributed immensely for our glory, honor COAS expresses thoughts on Women’s Day

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed his thoughts on International Women’s Day which is being observed today.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS praised women working in forces other sectors including health.
“Pakistani women contributed immensely for glory & honor of our nation. They are also @ forefront against COVID. Women in uniform have proved their mettle by contributing copiously in diverse fields serving the nation & humanity,” tweeted the military’s media wing quoting COAS.
Army Chief concluded that all women deserve appreciation and respect.

International Women’s Day is being observed worldwide on Monday (today) to acknowledge female innovators who have paved the way in education, civil rights, science, art, and so much more.
Besides celebrating women's achievements, the day also aims to raise awareness about women's contributions in different fields across the globe honoring the pioneers of the past, present, and future.
