NEPRA further increases power tariff by Rs3.82 per unit

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Monday further increased the power tariff by Rs3.82 per unit.
Issuing the detailed judgment regarding the power rates, the NEPRA allowed the DISCOs to receive an additional Rs1.43 per unit from July to October and Rs1.43 per unit from November to June 2023 from consumers using up to 200 units.
The power rate for consumers using 300-700 units and commercial consumers has been raised by Rs3.82 per unit.
The agriculture consumers will also pay an extra Rs 1.43 per unit and Rs3.82 per unit. The new rates will be implemented from March 1.
