NEPRA APPROVES 81-PAISA INCREASE IN POWER RATES

ISLAMABAD (9 News) – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) approved a 81-paisa increase in the power rates on Thursday.n As a result of the increase in the power rates, consumers have to bear an additional burden of Rs5.20 billion. The increase will be applicable to all distribution companies, including K-Electric. It will be applicable to the next month’s bills. It has been made under the head of the monthly fuel adjustment.
