Funeral prayers of PML-N's Mushahid Ullah offered in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Funeral prayers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Senator Mushahid Ullah have been offered.

Senator Mushahidullah Khan had passed away at the age of 68 after a prolonged illness, party leader Muhammad Zubair confirmed early Thursday morning.

Mushahid Ullah Khan was born in 1952 in Rawalpindi. He did his early education at Islamia High School in Rawalpindi and completed graduation from Gordon College in Rawalpindi. He received an L.L.B degree from Urdu Law College, the University of Karachi in 1997.

He joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in 1990. He was elected as Senator on PML-N seat in 2009. In 2015, Khan was re-elected to the Senate of Pakistan as a candidate of PML-N. He also served as Minister for Climate Change twice.

PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz in her tweet said that Mushahid Ullah was a loyal companion of Nawaz Sharif. Maryam said that she will never be able to forget his fatherly affection and love.
