Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has said that food factories are being forced to buy expensive and substandard sugar.

Taking to twitter, Maryam Nawaz wrote government institutions are giving threats to food factories to buy expensive and low-standard sugar.

“The owners are being blackmailed to pay an extra Rs. 8 per kilogram otherwise their factories will be closed.

“Complaints are being received from everywhere”, she added.
