ISLAMABAD: The 75-members Federal Cabinet is scheduled to meet later today to discuss the current political and economic situation of the country.
Official sources said the meeting, to be presided over by Prime Minister, was likely to be briefed about measures to thwart the possible Long March by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Besides routine agenda items, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to brief the cabinet about the economic situation and his upcoming visit to Washington this week where he will attend IMF and World Bank annual meetings.
It is pertinent to mention here that with the induction of Ex-Governor State Bank Tariq Bajwa as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister last Wednesday, the size of the federal cabinet has already swelled to 75.
