Fawad Ch asks governor to sign assembly dissolution summary immediately

LAHORE: PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary said that Punjab Governor Baleeghur Rahman should immediately sign the summary to dissolve the assembly without waiting for 48 hours so that the establishment of the caretaker government should be ensured.

Talking to the media on Friday, he said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly would be dissolved soon after the dissolution of the Punjab Assembly.

He said that KP CM Mahmood Khan could not reach here due to bad weather. "The PDM parties and the MQM are fleeing from going to the masses. The judiciary should ensure the conduct of the local government elections in Karachi and Hyderabad," he maintained.

He demanded that not only the ECP but also the Supreme Court should take notice of the Sindh government's decision. "The PDM should do another work if it cannot contest the election," he added.
