Coronavirus: Chinese university announces to form hospital in Lahore

LAHORE – In another friendly gesture, Chinese university on Friday has agreed to form a hospital in Lahore for the treatment of patients suffering from coronavirus.

According to details, Punjab governor Chaudhry Sarwar has told that the Vice Chancellor of Chinese University has assured to establish hospital in the metropolis.

Coronavirus test kits and masks will also be provided, he added.

The announcement was made after Pakistan has reported nine deaths from novel coronavirus while the total number of cases have surged to 1235 as 429 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Sindh, 131 in Balochistan, 08 in Punjab, 123 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 91 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 27 in Islamabad and two in Azad Kashmir.

Total number of patients who have recovered is 23.
