Pakistan’s talented all-rounder, Imad Wasim jumped up to the second spot after the one-off T20I against England, which his team lost by 7 wickets.
Babar Azam is still holding the top spot in the ranking, while New Zealand’s Colin Munro and Australian duo of Aaron Finch and Glen Maxwell are holding the second, third and fourth position, while India’s Lokesh Rahul is ranked at fifth.
Wasim bowled an impressive spell of one wicket for 25 runs in a losing cause, which helped him improve his ranking and leaving behind his teammate Shadab Khan.
Shadab Khan, who has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C Virus and is sitting out during the England series, is holding the third place in the ranking.
The left-arm slow bowler topped the ICC T20I ranking two years ago and he has been an integral part of Pakistan’s 20-over squad due to his impressive economy rate in the format.
