KARACHI – Karachi police crackdown against violators of provision of lockdown continues as 408 more persons were taken into custody from different parts of the city, reported on Wednesday.
Police have also registered 108 cases against the arrested persons. According to sources, 714 persons have so far been detained in Karachi for violating the lockdown imposed by Sindh government to stem the spread of coronavirus. At least 250 cases have also been registered.
On the other hand, at least 98 persons were arrested in Hyderabad for lockdown violation and 35 cases were registered while 37 persons were detains by police in Mirpur Khas.
At least 116 violators of lockdown were taken into custody by police in Sukkur, 72 were apprehended in Larkana and nine were detained in Benazirabad.
