PM Imran Khan Apprises French President, Jordan King Of Situation In IOJ&K

ISLAMABAD (9 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday phoned French President Emmanuel Macron and Jordan King Abdullah bin Al-Hussein to apprise them of the worsening situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K).

The prime minister informed the French president about revocation of the special status of the Occupied Kashmir. “The Indian move is the violation of the United Nations resolutions and international laws,” he said.

PM Imran Khan also informed Macron about the problems being faced by the Kashmiris due to the complete lockdown of the Occupied Kashmir. “The Indian troops have besieged the people of Kashmir.”

He also briefed the French president about the Afghan peace process.

French President Emmanuel Macron said that they are minutely observing the situation in Occupied Kashmir. “We want peaceful resolution of all issues,” he said.

The French president lauded the role of Pakistan in the Afghan peace process. The two leaders agreed to continue to work together for peace and stability in the region.

The prime minister told Jordan King Abdullah that Indian illegal and repressive policies in occupied Kashmir have not only led to a grave humanitarian crisis but also endangered peace and security in the region. “Through its unilateral and fascist actions, India is attempting to change the demography of the disputed territory, which is a blatant violation of the international norms and the UN Security Council resolutions.”

He said that international community must take notice of the Indian excesses and raise their voice for the oppressed people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

King Adbullah said that Jordan is closely following the developments in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He called for de-escalation of the situation and stressed for peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute through dialogue. He added that Jordan would consult other countries on the situation in Kashmir.
