ISLAMABAD (9 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to revive sick industrial units of the country.
Addressing a press conference, the special assistant said that if the industry does not work, then the wheel of economy will also not run in the country, adding that the federal government will try to revive sick industrial units.
Firdous Ashiq Awan also mentioned that the government was going to protect the rights of hard workers and there would be no compromise on the protection of the rights of workers.
The special assistant further said that the premier also decided to take practical steps to end unemployment. “It has also been decided to initiate inspector equipped regime in the industries. A task force has been established to revitalize the textile industry,” she explained
“The rights of the business community will also be protected,” the special assistant maintained. The injection containing poisonous had been administered to the economy by previous government,” she added.
Earlier a day, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that introduction of reforms in the country is in the manifesto of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Addressing a press conference along with Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Mian Aslam on Saturday, she said that the Punjab government is taking steps for the betterment of a common man.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the government is starting the projects linked to needs of citizens. “Opportunities will be provided to start the business in the industry and textile,” he said.
Mian Aslam said that no hospital is being privatized. “Performance of doctors will be monitored through the MTI Ordinance. “The non-development budget for health is Rs230 billion,” he said.
