Karachi: Director-General Rangers Sindh Major-General Omer Ahmed Bokhari on Monday said that it cannot be conclusively said that Indian agency RAW is involved but such an attack cannot take place without any help of a foreign agency.

While addressing to the media, DG Rangers Sindh said that the peace in Karachi was causing frustraton to India’s intelligence agency RAW. “It is too early to conclusively say that RAW is involved”, he added.

DG Rangers Sindh also said that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The real elements behind the attack will be identified after the investigation, Omer Bokhari said.

Major-General Omer Ahmed Bokhari lauded the brave and courageous efforts of security forces and said that the the security forces initiated the operation on 10:02AM when the 4 terrorists tried to enter the PSX building. “The forces concluded the operation at 10:10AM and all four terrorist were killed within these 8 minutes”, DG Rangers Sindh added.

He further clarified that the activities inside and outside the stock exchange resumed within almost 35 to 40 minutes as the forces foiled the plan of terrorist to enter the building.

“Our security agencies were already ready, so we managed to kill the terrorists so quickly,” he added.

He went on saying that a vehicle carrying terrorists was found on the spot, which contained bullets, food items and several hand grenades.

While commenting on alleged involvement of foreign agency, DG Rangers Sindh said, “The Indian intelligence agency RAW is trying to create a nexus of MQM London, BLA and others”.

“Who was involved in the incident will be decided in the final investigation”, Major-General Omer Ahmed Bokhari concluded.

On Monday morning, four terrorists tried to storm into the PSX building and threw grenades at the compound’s entrance. The terrorists then opened fire and attempted to enter the compound but were killed by security forces.
