Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Mushahidullah Khan has alleged that Pakistan cricket chief selector-cum- head trainer Misbah-ul-Haq has been made to comprise Ahmed Shehzad and Umar Akmal from the T20 team against Sri Lanka from the newly concluded T20I collection.
The Senate Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) that fulfilled Senator Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan Nasar at the seat in the Parliament House voiced their displeasure over Pakistan’s humiliating 3-0 home defeat at the hands of inexperienced Sri Lanka at T20I series.
Senator Mushahidullah alleged that Pakistan cricketers Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad were contained from the T20 squad for a favour since Misbah-ul-Haq was pressurised to incorporate these players that led in Pakistan conquer.
Ahmed and Umar made a comeback at the T20I squad for Pakistan, but the duo didn’t live up to the hype as the two batsmen were not able to play against Sri Lanka. The Senate Committee Chairman Sardar Yaqoob Nasar said the defeat of Pakistan staff from a Sri Lankan group was sudden.
