Humayun Saeed’s upcoming film London Nahi Jaunga, written by Khalilur Rehman Qamar and directed by Nadeem Baig is slated to release on Eidul Azha 2020. However, owing to the growing coronavirus concerns and the partial-global lockdown, it is hard to deduce the fate of the film.
Saeed however, recently made the announcement of his return to Karachi on Twitter. He was last spotted on a flight from Houston to New Jersey with his Meray Paas Tum Ho (MPTH) costar, Adnan Siddiqui. The two could be seen wearing masks with Siddiqui’s caption being, “Ufff Coronavirus! Off to Houston from New Jersey.”
Saeed’s announcement came after writer Vasay Chaudry tweeted, “London kiya…Kahin Bhi Nahe Jaoonga.”
To this, the MPTH star responded by saying, “Just landed at Karachi Airport bhai. Magar abhi ghar nahin jaonga. Main aur Adnan Siddiqui khud ko aik room main bund kar rahe hain kuch din ke liye, Allah hum sab ko apni amaan main rakhe. God bless you all.”
The star made it clear that he will not be going home and will instead be quarantining with his friend Siddiqui in a room. The move may be their possible attempt at avoiding any interaction with a loved one, in the case that they may be infected. But the two seem to share quite a bond if they plan on disappearing in these difficult times to live together.
Nevertheless, Baig’s production house is currently working on multiple scripts with different writers like Chaudhry, Qamar, and Zanjabeel Asim Shah. London Nahi Jaunga also appears to be a sequel to Punjab Nahi Jaungi, however, Saeed had clarified in an interview that it is a completely different story.
