Young Haris Rauf, a talent discovered by Lahore Qalandars through their talent hunt program will now represent Melbourne Stars in the ongoing Big Bash League season 9.
The 24-year-old as an international replacement has replaced Dale Steyn, who has been ruled out due to injury. Stars, led by explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell announced Rauf’s inclusion via twitter.
Haris came in the limelight when he was selected by the Qalandars in the players’ draft for the 2019 Pakistan Super League tournament.
