Azadi March demonstration in Islamabad delayed till tomorrow

(Islamabad News): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday declared the projected anti-government Azadi March protest in Islamabad was postponed until tomorrow (Nov. 1) because of this dreadful Tezgam train fire episode happened in Rahim Yar Khan now. Aurangzeb said that the decision was taken following consultation of opposition parties that are currently engaging in the protest that was huge.

Before, Azadi March caravan directed by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman was first scheduled to achieve Islamabad now where a large public meeting was scheduled to be held in H-9 place in Sunday Bazaar Grounds. The direction of primary opposition parties such as JUI-F, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Awami National Party (ANP) and many others are anticipated to deal with substantial crowd tomorrow.

According to sources, the part of Azadi March coming from Grand Trunk Road (GT Road) is expected to enter the funds from Rawat and utilize the Expressway, IJP Road and 9th Avenue to reach the venue. The part of Azadi March coming out of the Motorway will utilize the Kashmir Highway, while the rally nears, and such streets will be closed. The Red Zone has been sealed until the demonstration is reasoned, and entrance into this area was limited.

The agendas from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is going to be redirected to Kashmir Highway, while rallies from Murree and Azad Kashmir will hit Faizabad and take 9th Avenue to get to the venue. The long march of resistance parties such as JUI-F, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), PML-N, ANP and many others began its journey from Karachi on Oct. 27 and the JUI-F has declared to pick the next course of action after entering Islamabad. On the other hand of the authorities and private colleges, universities and colleges at Rawalpindi are closed.
