LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to start the vote of confidence proceedings against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif through President Dr. Arif Alvi.
The decision has been made keeping in view the reservations of the MQM.
President Arif Alvi will ask the prime minister to get a vote of confidence. The PTI is hopeful that the MQM will not vote for the prime minister.
Five MNAs belonging to the PML-N are likely to remain absent during the vote of confidence proceedings.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary has asked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to prepare for the change.
