Kaaba cover changed as new Islamic Year begins

Makkah: The cover of Kaaba has been changed at the beginning of the new Islamic year.

According to details, he Saudi Supreme Court confirmed that the month of Dhul-Hajj has been completed on Tuesday and 1st of Muharram 1445 is on Wednesday, July 19 (today).

At the beginning of the new Islamic year, the process of changing the cover of the Kaaba was started.

According to Arab media, the changing of the cover of the Kaaba started after the Isha prayer and it was completed in three to four hours.he report also told that the Kaaba cover costs more than two million Saudi Riyals.

It is pertinent to note that the moon of Muharram 1445 Hijri was not seen in Pakistan.

A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held at Deputy Commissioner Office Quetta to see the moon of Muharram 1445 Hijri.
