Celebrities mourn Pakistani legend Sabiha Khanum

The first lady of Pakistan’s film industry, Sabiha Khanum, took her last breath on Sunday.
According to her family, she had been suffering from kidney and heart problems along with multiple other diseases.
Khanum was born on October 16, 1935 in Gujarat. She worked in the film industry from 1950 to 1990, during which she had numerous hit movies.
Actors, singers and politicians took to social media to mourn the late star.
Some of her great works include Dewar Bhabi, Gumnam, Dulla Bhatti and Sarfarosh. She also acted in some television dramas. In most of her films, she starred opposite her husband, the late Santosh Kumar (Syed Musa Raza). For a long time they were regarded as the film industry’s perfect couple by the public and had a large fan following.
Khanum was awarded the Nigar Award for her outstanding achievement in the Pakistani cinema.
