Zil-Haj moon will be visible today: Fawad Chaudhry

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday said that the Zil-Haj moon will be visible in Pakistan today.
Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet that Zil-Haj moon was born on June 20 at 10:33pm and will visible tonight. The moon will be visible in Karachi and its surrounding areas, he added.

The federal minister further said that in case of cloudy weather, ‘The Ruet’ app may be downloaded to ascertain the exact location of the moon.
On the other hand, the meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held in Karachi today for sighting of Zil-Haj moon.
The meetings of zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will also be held at their respective headquarters for collecting evidences in respect of sighting if Zil-Haj moon or otherwise.
