PM condemns terror attack on PSX building

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has condemned the terrorist attack at the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) building carried out by four militants on Monday.

According to details, PM paid tribute to security officials who foiled the terror bid and prayed for the quick recovery of those injured in the attack.

“The entire nation is proud of its brave officers,” PM added.

All four militants that attacked the Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Karachi on Monday have been killed.

According to details, at least eight people including one sub-inspector and three security guards have been martyred and several wounded after armed men stormed Pakistan Stock Exchange building in Sindh’s metropolitan city today.

As per reports, the militants arrived in a car, launched a grenade attack at the main gate of PSX and stormed the building after firing indiscriminately.

Law enforcement agencies have gunned down all four militants in cross fire exchange. Security forces have also evacuated the people from inside the building.

Police and rangers have cordoned off the area and surrounding areas have also been sealed.

The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

A spokesperson of Pakistan Rangers Sindh said that the situation at Pakistan Stock Exchange is under control, while search and clearance operation is underway.
