The last of six special flights operated from the US to Pakistan took off from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Sunday.
The tickets cost around Rs250,000 per person and many passengers were displeased with the price. One man told SAMAA TV that the flight was originally to Karachi but it was cancelled and one to Islamabad was scheduled instead.
People were travelling on the flight without taking coronavirus tests and the consul-general for Chicago said that they don’t know about individual tests.
The plane had 280 passengers on board with 25 to 27 seats left empty.
Of the six special flights from the US, three were to Islamabad, two to Lahore and one to Karachi.
