IHC directs Interior Ministry to decide on a petition filed against Cynthia D. Ritchie

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed Interior Ministry to decide on the petition filed against Cynthia Ritchie.

According to details, the Islamabad High Court heard the petition of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) regarding deportation of Cynthia D. Ritchie, an American citizen.

Deputy Attorney General Tayyab Shah appeared in court. On the occasion, Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that the law should make its own way and ordered the two sides to appear in Interior Ministry on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the afternoon.

The court further directed to present a copy of the reply in the next hearing and adjourned case till next Friday

While directing the Interior Ministry to decide on the petition filed against Cynthia D. Ritchie, court ordered the department to inform about its decision in next hearing.
