Officers suspended for giving electric shocks to people violating SOPs

Four officers of Punjab Civil Defence have been suspending for giving electric shocks to people who were not wearing masks in Faisalabad.

The deputy commissioner said that the officers were using stun guns which were imported to control people at quarantine centres.

The action was taken after many people complained that they were given electric shocks by these officers.

An inquiry team has been formed and it has been told to submit a report in a week.
