Chairman NAB Chairs Executive Board meeting

ISLAMABAD – Meeting of Executive Board of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), chaired by Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Tuesday, approved several important inquires, references and investigations.

According to the statement issued by NAB, the meeting has approved a corruption inquiry against the son of the political secretary of former President Asif Ali Zardari.

The meeting also approved corruption investigation against Akram Durrani and officials of Housing Ministry.

According to the statement, NAB has submitted Rs178 billion in national exchequer in last two years, while accountability courts are still hearing 1229 references filed by the anti-corruption watchdog.
