Illegal societies case: Court tells CDA to submit another report

The Islamabad High Court directed on Thursday the Capital Development Authority to submit another report in the illegal housing societies case, terming its initial report ‘unsatisfactory’.
The bench remarked that cooperative housing societies and the CDA have destroyed the system. The authority has turned into a land mafia because of its constant support for them.
The authority doesn’t take action against influential people and can only destroy khokhas owned by the poor, the bench added.
