Chairman NDMA urges people to follow SOPs during Eid-ul-Azha

Islamabad: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal on Tuesday urged the nation to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) during Eid-ul-Azha.

While talking to media, the chairman NDMA paid tribute to the doctors and medical staff and said that doctors and medical staff are our frontline soldiers against COVID-19. "NDMA is ensuring supply of protective equipment to hospitals", he added.

Lieutenant General Muhammad Afzal further stated that the NDMA is providing additional beds to hospitals in Balochistan along with other equipments. Best facilities were ensured in limited time to counter the coronavirus pandemic.

All resources are being utilized to control the locust swarms attacks", he concluded.
