Death toll rises to 192 as coronavirus infects 9216 people across Pakistan

LAHORE - Pakistan on Tuesday has reported 192 deaths from novel coronavirus while the total number of cases has surged to 9216.

According to details, 4195 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Punjab, 2764 in Sindh, 1276 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 465 in Balochistan, 281 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 185 in Islamabad and 50 in Azad Kashmir.

The province-wise break up of the total number of cases as of 9:00am, April 21, is as follows:

Total confirmed cases: 9,219

• Sindh: 2,767

• Punjab: 4,195

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 1,276

• Baluchistan: 465

• Islamabad Capital Territory: 185

• Gilgit-Baltistan: 281

• AJK: 50

Deaths: 192

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 74

• Sindh: 61

• Balochistan: 6

• Gilgit-Baltistan: 3

• Punjab: 45

• Islamabad Capital Territory: 3

So far, 2066 patients have recovered in the country.
