Case registered against Tehreek-e-Insaaf protestors for protesting on Motorway M1

ISLAMABAD: A case has been registered against Tehreek-e-Insaaf protestors for protesting on Motorway M1.

As per details, case was registered in Rawalpindi's Naseerabad police station in the complaint of police officer. In the case, it has been stated that protest was going on when fellow officials took a U-turn towards Motorway M1. 50 to 60 people completely blocked the motorway on both sides. The citizens had to face a lot of difficulties due to the protest.

Police registered two cases against PTI protests in Rawalpindi. The first case was registered at Naseerabad Police Station on charges of blocking Motorway M1 during the protest on November 10, while the second case was registered at Taxila Police Station. The police did not name anyone in the FIR.
