Chitral’s Ashpar Valley gets bad weather flood warning

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Met Office in Peshawar have issued a flood warning in Chitral’s Ashpar Valley due to melting glaciers.

The authorities say temperatures will rise across the province from Sunday till Tuesday.

All lakes are already full to the brim and if the weather gets any warmer, more glaciers will melt, resulting in flooding.
